Yuki's little story Chapter 11

It was the next day and everyone was on their morning shifts, cleaning the hospital from top to bottom, cooking the breakfasts for the patients, and caring for the people in the hospital.
Kaya and Silver were both working in the maternity ward telling new mothers how to look after their first born, while checking on the babies health and the mothers as well. "Alright Mrs Jane you are set with little Phill here you can go home today" Kaya says dressing up the lad with a baby onsie in blue with little ducks printed on. The baby giggles and pull on Kaya's long hair "Alright little man thats enough, " She said picking him up and took her hair out of his fingers as Kaya handed him over to his mother " I'll get your things ready and you can leave at noon." She bows to thank her.

Silver was doing the same but he was getting more then hair being pulled "Right now Mrs Ann you need to check his diaper every hour to check he is wet and doesn't have a rash. As soon as Silver untaped the diaper pee went over his face, He made a face and the little lad was laughing. "Oh you think its funny little man " He wipes his own face and then blew raspberry on the babies belly and then stopped before showing The mother to change the lad diaper and then wrote a few things down "All right as soon your well after your C section you can go home with your little angel in two days " She smiles as she picks up her son and starts to nurse him as he was crying now. "Thank you Doctor Silver " He smiles and then glances over to his own wife seeing the bruise on her neck from Aki last night, It made him wonder what he could do to fix this.

Ray was going on his break after cooking full English for 300 people along with fruit salads, and porridges. He sat down with a cup of tea and a few rounds of toast, topped with jam. Taking the first bite he sees a tail on the other side of the table "I wonder who that can be " He said as two cat ears came above the tail and then a head. "It is Yuki" He hops on the table smiling and then looks at Ray "Ray looks tired " He said looking a bit worried, Ray petted Yuki's head "Just a bit Yuki I'm going to have a break now till lunch time good thing its beef pie with mash and veg, along with apple pie I made last night before going to bed just need to be warmed up in the oven for a bit is all" Ray eats his toast slowly as Yuki went over to the counter to see what he could have "Excuse me ... umm Could Yuki have porridge with jam please?" The man smiles and then puts it on a tray with a two types of jam in little bowels and a big bowl of porridge "There we go be careful it is very hot " Yuki thanks him and picks the tray up and goes over to the table before blowing on the meal to cool it down before taking a few bites liking the taste of it now he added a bit of the jam on the side and mixed it in and continues.

Ray wonders why he was on his own "Yuki were is Aden? I thought he was looking after you " Yuki shook his head "Aden is busy with a patient with a broken hip with Aki.... so he asked Yuki to get something to eat before Aden " Ray sips his tea and then takes his things to be washed " Well I got free time now how about you hang out with me for a bit we could play a game how about it ?" Yuki shook his head "No no please no more snake and ladders..." Ray sighs "No Yuki don't worry that was Aki using his magic, this game is fun you mite like it hide and seek." Ray smiles at him  as Yuki looks a bit confused "What type of game is it ?"  Ray sighs "Okay one person hides while the other counts to 10 or 100 depending how long it takes for the hider to find a place to hide. After the counting is done  the seeker says 'Ready or not, here I come' and they try try to find you all over the place, once found they switch places and the hider becomes the seeker and the seeker becomes the hider. Sound fun Yuki?" The neko nodded "Can Yuki be the hider first please Ray?" He was wagging his tail with such joy  He wanted to try this new game it did sound like fun "Alright lad I will count to ten slowly once I say ten then I'll see if  I can find you Ready?"  Yuki nodded and went off the chair and was waiting "One...... Two"  as soon as Ray started counting The lad was off on all fours all around the hospital trying to find a good spot to hide. The lad looks all over the place and then sees a room that was not in use  he looks around the room and then sees a basket with clean laundry which was perfect for him to hide in, hopping on top of the basket he covers himself with a blanket of a white sheet kept still "Ten ready or not Yuki here I come " Ray walks around the hospital looking to see were he was hiding. It took Ray around thirty minutes to go to one half of the hospital, looking threw every ward seeing nothing asking people have they seen a neko around , They all said no, but Ray went past a ward seeing it was not inuse but there was a basket in the middle of the room. "I wonder were he could be" Yuki moves under the sheet and then The doctor came over and peeks under the sheet "I found you little rascal " Yuki licks Rays nose and then pounces on him " Yay you found Yuki, You found Yuki"V He said wagging his tail with joy "Ray's turn to hide nyaaa" Ray laughs "Right My turn now you count to ten alright and I'll hide " Yuki hops down and covers his eyes "One.... t.....two... three" Ray left the room and went to the a room down the hall and hid behind a curtain. Yuki was trying to get to Ten but it was hard he never counted before in his life lucky for him a nurse came round and help him count to ten "Okay Ray, Yuki is coming to find Ray" Yuki sniffs the air looking for Rays sent and then looks around the hallway but it was hard since there was so many scents around the place along with cleaning smells it was not going to help finding him. Yuki looks in every room but he didn't see anything. He was getting worried that he couldn't find Ray at all, but then Yuki spotted two black shoes behind the curtain in a room. The lad walks on all fours to it and then pokes the feet "Hey you found me lad" Ray peeks behind the curtain and petted Yuki's head "Yay Yuki win Yuki win!!" Ray and Yuki played the game for a good two hours and then Yuki was getting tired out he was getting ready for a nice sleep. Ray took him to his brother Aden's room and then tucks the lad in his bed "Have a good sleep Yuki I'll be working now but Aden will be done in a bit okay?" Yuki yawns showing that he was tired and with that he curls up under the covers and sleeps.
